Gloria’s Foundation Fellowship
The Gloria’s Foundation Fellowship is an opportunity for change makers and hope-a-holics whose work centers around justice and social change to deepen their own endeavors and contribute to present and future organizing.
This Fellowship continues the long legacy of Gloria’s home being a site of inspiration, creativity, and respite for organizers, as well as fostering organizing work that centers empathy and connectedness. Additionally, the Fellows build on Gloria's quality of empathy and generosity of spirit, thus underscoring the value and importance of these qualities in social change work.
Since its inception in 2024, Fellows have worked on projects related to disability justice, feminist literature, climate activism, Native maternal health policy, art, and more. The through line of all participants’ activism is that their work centers around human connectivity, empathy, and the generosity of spirit that Gloria has carried through her decades of movement building.
Applications for the Gloria’s Foundation Fellowship running January - December 2026 will open here. Submissions are welcome from October 13, 2025 until November 10, 2025 (at 11:59PM ET).
*Please note that Fellows must be located in the NYC Metropolitan area or find housing in the NYC Metropolitan area for the duration of the Fellowship (1 year).
